Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements, providing expert technical consultation for IT hardware and networking solutions.
• Design and propose customized IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, LAN/WAN/WLAN, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud integration (Cisco, HP, Dell, Lenovo, Aruba).
• Create comprehensive solution architectures, including L2/L3 network designs, security frameworks, and performance optimization plans.
• Conduct product demonstrations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and technical presentations to clients, showcasing the value of proposed solutions.
• Support the sales cycle by preparing technical documentation, including solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and cost estimations.
• Manage and support RFP/RFI processes by preparing detailed technical proposals and competitive analysis.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in IT hardware, networking technologies, cloud integration, and network virtualization.
• Liaise with vendors and partners to understand product features and ensure competitive positioning in the market.
• Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure smooth transitions from pre-sales to post-sales delivery, maintaining high client satisfaction.
• Identify client pain points and craft scalable, secure solutions addressing infrastructure scalability, network security, and performance challenges.
• Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships to foster long-term business engagements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, IT hardware, and networking.
• Strong expertise in networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers from vendors such as Cisco, HP, Dell, Lenovo, and Aruba.
• Proficiency in L2/L3 networking concepts, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and MPLS.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, and other network management platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and networking solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, HP ASE, VMware VCP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Exceptional client management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Knowledge of SD-WAN, SDN, and network automation tools like Ansible and Python.
• Experience with network virtualization technologies and cloud integration (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with competitive analysis and staying ahead of industry trends in IT hardware and networking solutions.
