Government e-Market Executive, Sales

Job Description

  • Enterprise Account Management with focus on acquiring new accounts.
  • Focus on accomplishment of business targets through various activities like up-selling, cross selling, customer service delivery.
  • Coordinate with sales teams on Principle Company pertaining to product, documentation policy compliance for order closures.
  • Interface with Client & Internal Product Team, Solution Architects & Business Development Team for custom designing of solutions based on business requirements of customers
  • Develop & maintain productive business relationship with existing clients/ prospects
  • Work on cross/ up-selling activities to maximize revenue generation in existing accounts
  • Involved in analysis of total IT Hardware spends across mapped accounts, identification/ churning of competition accounts.
  • Contract Renewals based on client/ market requirements.
  • Maximize client satisfaction through prompt resolution of issues and qualitative service delivery

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The BDM is required to identify and execute on the most important sales & customer delivery activities. As a BDM, you will help our business to increase efficiencies by reaching out to our customers with our service & solution offerings & coordinating with our sales team & sourcing vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and business opportunities through Government e-Marketplace (GeM) from Central & State Governments, PSUs. Take follow-ups, manage comprehensive tender bidding, and ensure payment realization management.
  • Add new products/catalogs on the GeM portal and upload invoices accurately. Study and understand eligibility criteria, required documents, and terms & conditions. Prepare technical and financial bids, in assistance with seniors.
  • Knowledge of various bid submission types like bunch bid, reverse bid, custom bid, and normal bid. Compare products and rates, understand vendor assessment, OEM, and seller profile requirements on the GeM portal.
  • Understand legal metrology rules for listing products on the portal.
 

Requirements & Requisites:

  • 3 years of relevant professional experience in B2B Sales in across industries such as Banking, Telecom, ITeS with hands-on experience with a high customer engaging role is preferred. 
  • Ability to make cold calls, results driven approach to problem solving with ability to work independently.
  • A good thinker, and strong communicator, verbal & written. 
  • Ability to drive initiatives end to end with minimal oversight. 

Skill Sets:

  • 3 years of SMB or midsized business operations experience in a fast-growth environment
  • 3 years’ experience in a technology or marketing firm is preferred.
  • Proficient CRM experience is preferred
  • Understanding of ecommerce, digital marketing, online shopping, and fulfilment preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working on the GeM Portal.
  • Strong ability to prioritize & manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail, Analytical skills with a good understanding of tender language. Experience in preparing cost sheets.
  • Methodical and analytical, ability to find into solutions
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Education: Graduate/Diploma/BE

Work Location: Awfis Coworking Space, Mission Road, Bangalore-27

Minimum/Maximum/ Work Experience Required: 4+ years.
